Fall 2021 Interior Decor Tips
Anybody else in full fall mode?! We are! As the trees change color and we’re embracing the crisp, colder weather, we want to share some of our favorite tips and tricks to help get your home ready for the season. There are so many great ways to easily elevate your home and spread the cozy feeling throughout the holidays. Let's get started!
1. Include Warm, Earthy Neutral Tones
Fall is all about celebrating the beauty of the outdoors and bringing that same inspiration indoors. We love incorporating warm, earthy tones in the form of textiles and fabrics to various pieces, like; pillows, throws and towels. Including additional throw blankets is also a cozy way to include a pop of color, pattern and texture to a space. Try adding a throw blanket across your main living room sofa or at the end of the bed.

2. Vintage, Eclectic Accessories

Trying incorporating the following personal touches into your fall design; family photos taken in the fall, hand made crafts, moody artwork, or vintage glass bottles. Create a table space or shelf-scape with the groupings of items that you have collected over the years. Our next tip is to create a festive and cozy nook, meant for either reading, relaxing or a place for an afternoon nap. You can create your own personalized space by creating a comfortable window nook filled with throw pillows and blankets, or filling an empty corner in your bedroom with a chaise or armchair. Find a space within your home and transform it into a perfect place to unwind and take in the changing season.

4. Fall Foliage and Florals
Who said flowers are just for spring and summer? Fall arrangements are the perfect way to add beautiful depth and color into your home. Visit your local florist to see the arrangement options that utilize fall color’s like red, orange, yellow and green. If you prefer artificial foliage, there are also so many great options to last you all season long, many craft stores offer a selection of artificial florals, branches, pine cones and leaves to create your very own unique arrangement.
Curating arrangements during the fall season is a great time to get out of your usual color comfort zone and try something new. As you may know, we love an impactful hydrangea arrangement and truly believe foliage and florals is an essential tip when decorating your home.
5. Update Your Mantle-scene
If you have a fireplace in your home, this is the perfect opportunity to decorate with moody artwork, candles, and foliage. Your fireplace mantel in your living room is typically the focal point of the space, so placing your favorite fall decor pieces will instantly set the mood for this wonderful time of the year.
