HOME TOUR: Neutral Nursery

We continue our next Home Tour in the same Northern Liberties Townhome. Our clients were a young couple expecting their first child and reached out to us to design their mid century living room, guest room and nursery. If you haven’t checked out their living room transformation just yet, you can head here for the full home tour.

After completing their living room, we progressed into their nursery, where our clients wanted to create a neutral and inviting space for their new baby. As MTI has mentioned before, our goal when working with our clients is to take one room at a time so that the design process is never overwhelming. This ensures that all our processes flow and each room is completed to our client’s utmost satisfaction.

DETAILS

A special and important aspect of this nursery is the reclaimed dresser that we used in the design. When working with MTI, we work with what you originally have, and incorporate either furniture and decor with new and updated pieces so that your space feels fresh and curated by a designer. We love working with what you have because it contributes to the story told in your room and it brings character into your space.

We focused on a neutral color palette for this space with blue and green accents. The striped accent wall gave it a fun flair for the baby to grow up with and we made sure to include lots of space for organization.
